Yeah, SNES and PS1 was my prime gaming era, I have played a shitload of PS2 ones as well. The funny thing is that I never owned an SNES, I always played over my friends' houses. FF2 was the first RPG I ever saw and played, that's probably why it will always remain my favorite. Of course if it sucked it wouldn't, but it just so happened to be a great game.

I was always a Sega kid until PS1 came along, so I played things like Phantasy Star, Vay, the Lunar games, Shining Force, and the few decent games that came out for Saturn and Dreamcast. I pretty much just looked for the Working Designs logo and bought whatever game was attached. Luckily a few good Dreamcast games were rereleased for PS2, like Grandia 2 and Skies of Arcadia. Skies of Arcadia was awesome back then. Shit, why do I feel old?

Dude, what are you talkin about. Skies of Arcadia is awsome now. lol. That was my first RPG ever so it holds a special place in my fart. I was blown away at the storytelling in that game. Immediately after I went and got FFX and Kindgom Hearts and stuff. Ended up I just about only play RPG's. Everything else bores me.

Yeah, when it came out I felt sad that it was on the Dreamcast, since nobody was going to be playing. I was quite happy after Dreamcast died and they released it on PS2. I wonder if I still have it, I know I have my Dreamcast tucked away.

PS2? Dude what country do you live in. lol. cause here in the states in got ported to GC. Ps2 never saw it here. I am thinkin you live in Europe. That's just my guess tho. haha.

Yeah RPG's are the best genre imo. I am currently playing Fallout 3, Infinite Undiscovery, and The Last Remnant.....anime got in the way of playing them though lol

OH shit, you're right. Damn its been so long. PS2 and GC are almost the same...right....lol. Don't be too mean, I'm trying to go from memory here, and we're talking almost a decade ago. Us old timers gets a bit squeeky in the thinker.

BIG MASSACHUSETTS! I really didn't get into RPGs until the PlayStation one then I began to understand the gravity of massive blocks of time disappearing. Since then i haven't looked back.... oh yeah any thing that rewards you for grinding countless hours out on a game only for it to be taken away by a memory corruption! I was 76 hours into FF12 and thats is my story if my fallout save ever died i would probably blow up my house...

Jesus, 76 hours? I think the longest I ever spent on a single playthough was when Xenogears first came out, but nowhere near that long. I'm not into the whole maxing a character out, since there's no point. I do the main story line, obviously, and get all the goodies. I did get really sidetracked with FF10 playing Blitzball for some reason, Jecht shot FTW!!

I can't play handheld systems since my eyes can't seem to adjust to them most of the time, so I just expanded my GB,GBC,and GBA rom collection. I'm debating on playing Mother 3, or waiting for the translation of Mother 1 + 2 to be finished. I thought Earthbound (Mother 2) was extremely unique and great. Thankfull Tomato stepped up and translated M3, and since he's a professional translater of games, movies, anime, etc - I think he works for Funimation, the quality is superb.

wait eathbound was the second game in the series? I didnt know that.
and with my FF7,8,&9 Saves had over one hundred hours each. yeah i maxed the caracters out but i was really into the mini games too. but even with level 99 characters i still couldnt beat those damn wepons. ( i never got used to the chocobos) realy i put in all that time because i thought i was waisting my money if i didnt.
