I just got lost planet 2 recently, an its a great game. Very much the same as the first one, but with obvious changes that go along with the plot. For instance, now on EDEN III its not just a ICE world but also has jungle areas as well as other area's, like deserts, and cities.

The mechanics of the game is the same, with its shooter aspect plus the grappling hook. Same weapons, plus some new ones (there great, the new ones.). The VS suits (mech's) are awesome as always and there even different characters on multiplayer.

The Multiplayer is on a whole nother level this time. Your character is customizable, with different looks and bodie parts ( from what I saw in a few online matches). Also, some of these maps the come up with are just plain fun, my favorite so far is CUBE.

But, alas, there is a down side too all this ( at least for me). In campaign mode (non-online), I usually get a error code message 8002233A during game play. For instance, I'll be in the middle of a map, doing good, then.....it will just kick me out, and give me the error code. Which is extremely annoying because each chapter in campaign mode has like 3 episodes/3parts. So say I get to the middle of one, it will kick me out, and I'll have to start all over again, beginning of the chapter u start from. Oh, it will kick me out of cut scenes too, which is just ridiculious.

Plus, the set up of the campaign is just a all wrong. first off, you have to create a session, which is just weird, because most single player games just boot you in to the game. Then you have to start it, it counts down to zero( yup a count down) then boots you into the game. Begin of single player, it say ready go before it starts but that not really all back or effects you game at all.

There other draw backs, but I find my self getting pretty mad after go back and forth trying to play this. I keep come back to play it, because it is a great game, but every time I get kick out of single player I want to throw my control at my wall ( I dont cause controls cost money.lol).

Oh, and I've researched it, the error code I mean. so far, there only a had full of people online on campcom.com's forum that have had issues, aside from others.lol. Its actually pretty sorry to see such a good game go bad with extra things that weren't needed. I really, really hope for a patch....there's always multi-player matches.lol.

In my opinion it wasnt as good as the first...iono...just din't like it that much anymore...
