There was no midnight release tonight at the Best Buy I live near..I am very displeased...grrr...

I told my room mates I am going to write a poem, then stand at 9:30 am at the doors of Best Buy and read the poem through a mega phone. I am kidding, but they lied..Ga! they said they have midnight releases for every game..

Anyways, back on topic Versus still looks amazing, can't wait for that.

About half of the stuff on my "Mystery List" has arrived. The rest will arrive tomorrow! Can't wait to play a large chunk of FFXIII for 3 days. Anyone has some personal impressions of the game so far?

I haven't beaten the game yet, but so far it's great! It's a very very linear game and more or less it's like cut scene, battle, cut scene, battle. But for me that's ok like that, because it feels like I am actually playing the characters. Kinda hard to explain but other than that...

graphics are awesome! Dubbing is really good in my opinion and the battle system is somehow easy but intense and complicated at the same time? Anyways, that's my review of the game so far. Of course, I'm a devout final fantasy fan so I'm pretty bias towards these kind of things.

Alright! Its finally Friday! Of course I said I will post up what I done for FFXIII! As I discussed before, I did a COD:MW2 LAN Party. I did a lot of crazy stuff in that event including buying a 42inch Plasma HDTV and PS3 and placed that in another room so that a friend could play with us.

So how could I top that? Well lets find out:

I made a Mystery List on what I done for Final Fantasy XIII. Here is the list -

1) ??????????????? (Hint: Compliments the Game)
2) ??????????????? (Hint: Compliments the Graphics)
3) ??????????????? (Hint: Compliments the Sound)
4) ??????????????? (Hint: Shows off my Game)

Time to reveal what was in the list. For Number 1 and 4 here is what was obtained:

1) Collectors Edition Final Fantasy XIII Official Guide (Only 210,000 of these were made Worldwide! Each of these guides were individually numbered by the way.)
4) Video Game Recorder

If you are wondering why I have TWO copies of FFXIII for PS3. Easy, one copy is for me. The other copy I am donating to a game charity event.

Now you are probably wondering where is number 4? The Video Game Recorder. Well its right here:

Say hello to this tiny device called the V-Mate. Don't be fooled by this either. Its quite powerful. Not only did I manage to find the latest hardware revision which has more features, I also re-wired it so that its more Video Game recording friendly. I'll post what I did on this on another thread some time.

So what about the last two on the Mystery List?

1) Final Fantasy XIII Official Guide Collector's Edition (Hint: Compliments the Game)
2) ??????????????? (Hint: Compliments the Graphics)
3) ??????????????? (Hint: Compliments the Sound)
4) V-Mate Video Recorder (Hint: Shows off my Game)

Well here they are:

A bigger, better Plasma HDTV! XD

And this time its for my room unlike the other Plasma. Originally I went with 50inch. However...it was too big for the size of my room. So I went down a few inches to 46inch. Which...is also too big for the size of my room...but I didn't want to go any lower. >_> In additional, this is the G10 Panasonic. Considered the Best Plasma for 2009 for the money.

For the sound I got the $200 Headset, TRITTON AX PRO. Considered the best TRUE Surround Sound Headset in the world. This thing has 8 speakers built into it. Not 2. Not 4. But 8! ^__~

And then there is the Wii that also got shipped...but that has nothing to do with FFXIII. >_> But I got one finally so I now own all 3 Current Gen system.

1) Final Fantasy XIII Official Guide Collector's Edition (Hint: Compliments the Game)
2) Panasonic G10 46in Plasma (Hint: Compliments the Graphics)
3) TRITTON AX PRO 5.1 True Surround Sound Headset (Hint: Compliments the Sound)
4) V-Mate Video Recorder (Hint: Shows off my Game)

And there you have it! My Final Fantasy XIII Launch Week Event! Now if you excuse me...I got some gaming to do. XD

***

((Neat stuff about the Panasonic Plasma I picked:

I actually did a lot of research on what I wanted for my Plasma TV. It first had to have the best Black Levels. It also have to be feature rich. I will discuss the features that I got this Plasma to do. First the VIERACAST. Since my HDTV is in my room, its been wired to go online.

Once its online, I can do a lot of things with the touch of a button. For example instant Weather Forecast to anywhere.

Watch youtube: http://www.exelements.net/ProjectFul...ma-YouTube.jpg

And listen to internet radio. Including J-Pop songs and what not!: http://www.exelements.net/ProjectFul...ma-Pandora.jpg

Overall, quite pleased with this. Especially since more features are being added through out the year!))
