Another wonderful scam.

Now there are a FEW things out there that aren't scams. And I do mean FEW. Take for instance Call of Duty: Modern Warefare 2. That is a legit Collectors Edition.

Another one is BlazBlue Limited Edition set. Strangely the PS3 version is the rarer one.

Thats why when you see my Next Game Purchases, you will rarely see me post a pre-order for so called "Collector's Edition" and "Limited Edition". But when you DO see one...haha I HIGHLY recommend you pre-order it just like I did. ^_~ Cause most likely I know for a fact its gonna be a rare one.

Oh yeah I forgot to tell you exactly why they become scams. X_x

Reprints. Yes...those so called Collectors and even Limited Edition do infact get reprints. >__< Blame it on the Publisher or the pressure from Retailers (yes retailers play a HUGE role when reprints for these editions are made.) But its a sad truth. T__T

EA is especially known for this. Such as the Need For Speed Most Wanted Black Edition? Their so called Uber edition that will never get reprinted?

Oh believe me I know all about reprints, its an annoying fact in just about everything, not just games. I've had items in the past go from very pricey to less that sticker price overnight.

Speaking of Blazblue, my local Gamestop has the limited edition still in stock, though none of the preorder goodies left. If its still there next paycheck I'll probably pick it up.

I like a lot of the private preorder goodies, meaning they come from the store rather than the publisher. This doesn't happen too often though.

I actually have most of the Blazblue stuff other than the actual game, lol. Someone was selling the Korean artbook on ebay for cheap too. I don't think I'll spend $27 for the tote, but I do like this from its description : "These were hand-crafted by magical unicorns that were spoon-fed by very short elves in a remote location in China. (Everything is true except for the part about China.)"

Eh? I don't recall even the game hitting Korea yet or even announced. Only US and Japan for now. Europe is still waiting for their release at around 2010.

Oh yeah I also an figuring out what you mean by Cross Edge Limited Edition? There is only one edition that I know of.
