I would second the comments of other reviewers that this anime would have something that appeals to everyone.

It is one of the most well-rounded anime I have seen. Additionally, the main male character, Sousuke, is a refreshing change from the typical chronically shy and inept Japanese teenager that is usually depicted.

Beautiful character design with colours and lines that just 'pop' out of the screen. Chidori is cute and feisty, yet still presented with a vulnerable side. The plot also, while not brilliant, is certainly good enough to get you interested in the story. The mecha action is also very good.

There is really very little that this anime does wrong.

Highly recommended.

Full Metal Panic is a great series. It throws together a whole bunch of genres into one and makes for one heck of a ride. We have mecha, romance, action, mystery, comedy, and some high school drama so everyone can find something they like in here.

Animation - 5/5
I have no problems with the art. Good character designs. Nice colors. etc. etc. Very easy on the eyes.

Sound - 5/5
Voiceovers were great. I watched sub so that is what i am commenting on. Nice sound fx. Cool explosions and the like. I honestly cant remember what the music was like so I cant comment on that. Since the voices were so good i'll go on and give sound a 5/5.

Story/Characters - 5/5
Great plot. Starts with the two characters trying ot not kill each other and how they eventually fall for one another all while saving the world from being thrown into chaos by some crazy soldier. All the characters a likealbe.

Overall - 5/5
I really have nothing bad to say about FMP. Great from beginning to end.

Great show. Throws together a whole bunch of genres into one package. You have romance, mecha, action, drama. Great voice work. Animation is top notch as well. Great show for everybody.
