Plot Summary: Classic martial-arts shonen series Dragonball Z will be receiving an extensively remastered HD re-broadcast this April. Goku is back with his new son, Gohan, but just when things are getting settled down, the adventures continue. Whether he is facing enemies such as Frieza, Cell, or Buu, Goku is proven to be an elite of his own and discovers his race, Saiyan and is able to reach Super Saiyan 3 form. He meets many new people, gaining allies and well as enemies, as he still finds time to raise a family and be the happy-go-lucky Saiyan he is.

In regards to VegetaLord5's previous comment, I would like to note that the Japanese voice-overs in dragon ball kai are not original audio. The rerun uses the original actors but they went in to the studio and rerecorded the dialogue in order to have a more fluid sync with the video. Many scenes of course have been cut and a few new ones have been added. Due to the significant rearrangement of video slices it seemed no less than appropriate to adjust the dialogue to ensure that the story did not have gaps and to remain as close to that of the manga as possible.
AND JAP DUB/ENG SUB IS THE ONLY WAY THAT THIS SERIES SHOULD BE WATCHED.
The funimation interpretation is as weak as toothpicks holding up the weight of building. Sorry but I think majority rules when it comes to DBZ viewers that have been around since the saiyan saga rerun days. That was nearly 15 years ago. Its been a long journey since yet DBZ has never faded from my number 1.

The 1 star is for the absent-minded comments.
5 stars for not making Kakarot take 20 episodes to fly back from snake way when it took him 4 episodes, walking, to start his training.
(obviously an exaggeration of what the orginal made him do but you get the point)

To minkyman91 and everyone else here that keeps arguing about the voices because they don't know a thing about Dragonball Z:
All of the audio played during the episode content (meaning everything with the exception of the opening and ending) is the original audio from Dragonball Z. When you say "old" voices, you're clearly talking about the English speaking voice actors. If you all had watched Dragonball Z in Japanese with subs from the start, you wouldn't be criticizing Dragonball Kai.
Your comments on the voices are now null and void.
