Meanwhile, Hell's Gate remains standing in Tokyo, after Hei's efforts to stop the Saturn Ring anti-Gate particle weapon from activating. Although Contractors are safe from the danger of having their existences erased, this does not prevent new and old Contractors from abusing their powers. This is my first review, so I apologize if it's not the best. So far (6 episodes) this season of DTB is great. I love how they integrate some of the old characters with what is essentially a new storyline, and it looks to me like the story is continued better from one episode to the next. In the first season, you could skip some episodes and not miss much of the main story. The video quality is good and the subs seem pretty good to. With subs I am more concerned with how understandable they are rather than the literal translation, and that is how the subs are here. All in all, this is a pretty good anime with good production, a good story, and some action to keep you excited.

I agree with googleplxx, the opening episode was full of surprises and honestly did not waste time in showing the viewer this season is going to be way different from the first. With so many familiar faces already appearing and the constant cliffhangers, this one is sure to keep you guessing what will happen next. Just be sure you watched the first season however, considering a lot of character's and past events are brought up, so it's best to know the terms used and get some past background before diving into the sequel.
